HealthSafe ID™: One username, one password

What is HealthSafe ID?

HealthSafe ID is UnitedHealthcare’s new sign-in that lets you access nearly all your health benefits with the ease of one username and password.

What do I need in order to register?

You will need your UnitedHealthCare health plan ID and group number. You can find this information on your ID card or in your enrollment materials.

Will I have the same access to all my health account information when I sign in with HealthSafe ID?

Yes.

Which websites and apps can I sign into with HealthSafe ID?

We’re introducing HealthSafe ID in phases. This website uses HealthSafe ID now, as does our UnitedHealthcare Health4Me app where applicable.

When will I be required to use HealthSafe ID for signing in?

You will be required to use a HealthSafe ID starting in January 2018.

What happens if I don’t register by the end of December 2017?

You will not be able to access your online account on this website. This will prevent you from taking advantage of all of your UnitedHealthCare health plan management features and benefits. To do so, you will have to update to the new HealthSafe ID.
